Rock in Rio 2018

Rock in Rio, the biggest music and entertainment event of all times, returns to Lisbon and it will transform the city in the world’s capital of rock.

Using music as a universal language that unites people all around the world, Rock in Rio is a form of communication, from emotions to causes and one of its causes is the Social Project, launched in 2001, in Rio de Janeiro.

The Project “FOR A BETTER WORLD” was born, through music, to draw the attention of people and sensitize them to help improve social conditions through simple everyday actions.

First held in Rio de Janeiro in 1985, Rock in Rio is not just a music festival, it is also an entertainment event that includes street performances, dance shows, presentations by digital influencers, cosplay, exhibitions... and much more!

This year, the event will bring to Lisbon names such as Muse and Bastille (23rd June), Bruno Mars and Demi Lovato (24th June), The Killers and The Chemical Brothers (29th June) and Katy Perry and Jessie J (30th June).
