Lisbon Fish & Flavours 2018
From April 5th to the 15th, the Pavilhão Carlos Lopes in Parque Eduardo VII welcomes the 11th edition of “Peixe em Lisboa” (Lisbon Fish & Flavours).
This is the most important event of the Portuguese gastronomy dedicated to seafood, with top restaurants as well as Portuguese and foreign Chefs.
Among the international chefs, we must highlight the following: Ashley Palmer-Watts, who heads the Dinner in London, Anthony Genovese, chef of Il Pagliaccio in Rome and Ana Ros, the Slovenian who in 2017 was voted Best Female Chef of the World for her work at the Hisa Franko restaurant in the Slovenian countryside.
From the Portuguese side, the festival will host Jose Avillez, João Rodrigues, from the Feitoria, João Oliveira, from Vista, in Portimão and Tiago Bonito, from Largo do Paço, in Amarante.
As usual, the event also includes competitions, such as “O Melhor Pastel de Nata” and “Pataniscas” and activities such as debates, meetings or wine harmonization are also on the menu.
In partnership with Docapesca and Ciência Viva, there will be several sessions dedicated to sustainable fishing and the consumption of species that are not in danger of extinction.
